Highly recommend never purchasing from them, as you will be gambling your money away.ĬonsumerAffairs is not a government agency. Their customer service doesn't help, takes forever, and blames the consumer for their defects. Sounds to me like there needs to be a class action lawsuit filed against Element Electronics. It was completely disingenuous and only left me more frustrated. I posted negative reviews on several sites and when they responded with "email customer service and we'll help you!", they continued telling me they couldn't do anything at all. It took 3 weeks for them to even respond with suggestions. I wrote customer service and they said they couldn't do anything, despite evidence that this was a common problem. Original Review: I purchased an Element 55" Roku Smart TV and the screen died just over a year and a half old after purchasing it! First and last time getting an Element TV. Do yourself a favor and spend a little extra for name brand Samsung, Sony, or even straight from Roku themselves. In the likely case of their electronics becoming faulty, they'll give you the run around so they don't take responsibility. That just isn't true! Beware of this electronic company. I left a 1-star review here as well, and guess what? They're telling me their warranty is now 2 years.
